Long dress featuring a halter neckline in handwoven chaguar fabric with semi-transparent geometric patterns in burgundy and coral. The fitted bodice flows into an asymmetrical pointed hem, with an open back and neck tie detail. The lower half showcases a mermaid silhouette in velvet, finished with voluminous handcrafted chaguar fringe in lilac and pink that trails to the floor.
Chaguar weaving is an ancestral practice of the Wichí people, encompassing plant harvesting, hand-spinning, natural pigment dyeing, and traditional loom and needle techniques. More than a craft, it is a form of cultural expression preserving community memory and values. Each dress is made to order, honoring the authentic timeline of artisanal creation.
